It should be mandated that the school allow parents enough time to either pull their child out of school on days like this especially if like us, we choose to shelter our kids from this type of obscenity. We as parents should be the ones to delegate the time and place where WE teach our children about these difficult topics. Some kids are still very emotionally immature and this type of assembly promoting and celebrating this is inappropriate in a middle school.
Then we as parents are left to answer the many questions they may have at the end of the day. My child didn't even know what that all stood for and was not only shocked, but had questions a child of his age should never even be thinking about.
Stop celebrating LGBTQ in schools and start teaching these kids that yes it is ok to be themselves, but it is NOT ok to flaunt it just as it is not ok for straight kids to be faulting their relationships when they are this young. These are not high school or college kids, most of them aren't even teenagers yet. It is the administrations responsibility to keep our children safe and teach them math and science.
It is the parents responsibility to teach them about adult relationships when the PARENT feels that their child is ready. Not when the school or state feels they should be. Parent Review 1y ago. Though house is expensive here if you want to buy ". Shopping, groceries, restaurants. This area is good. Overrated house prizes and neighbors mind their job. Only reason to stay in this place is Cupertino school district.
Nothing special here. There are quite a few dogs in the neighborhood but I rarely hear them. Trees, flowers and pavement neat. There is a mix of original owners and new. Everyone is friendly.
Just a couple of months ago we had 5 neighbors work together to get a new fence. It was actually the first time we met the neighbors behind us. They were super friendly, inviting us in. People are friendly but keep to themselves.
